Meditation Workshops

Our flagship program, held every week in community halls across Patna and surrounding districts. Sessions are guided by Shivin and trained facilitators, drawing on Vipassana, mindful breathing, and body-scan techniques that trace back to Bihar's own Buddhist heritage.

Whether you are brand new to meditation or have practised for years, our workshops offer a welcoming, non-judgemental space. We work with breath, silence, and gentle movement — nothing complicated, nothing expensive.

Art Classes & Exhibitions

From Madhubani folk painting to contemporary mixed media, our art classes offer a structured but free-spirited creative space. Sessions run twice a month and are open to all skill levels — the point is never perfection, always expression.

Every quarter, we host a community exhibition where participants display their work publicly. These exhibitions are open to all, celebrating the creative courage of every person who walked through our doors.

Youth Programs

Designed specifically for teenagers and young adults, our Youth Programs combine art-making with emotional intelligence workshops. We work with young people on stress management, identity expression, and building peer support networks through creative collaboration.

Monthly gatherings bring together 15–30 young people for a full-day workshop combining guided art-making in the morning, a facilitated group discussion after lunch, and a short meditation session to close. Safe, expressive, and genuinely fun.

Community Events

Beyond our regular programs, we host periodic community gatherings — open to everyone. These include full-day Peace Melas, seasonal art fairs, heritage walks, and inter-community dialogue events that bring together people from diverse backgrounds.

Community Events are our most public face — joyful, inclusive, and free. They are designed to celebrate Bihar's cultural richness while creating new connections across communities that might not otherwise meet.

Online Sessions

Not everyone can attend in person — and that should never be a barrier. Our online sessions bring guided meditation and creative workshops to anyone with an internet connection, anywhere in India and beyond.

We run live sessions on Zoom (registered participants) and free open sessions on Instagram Live. Every session is recorded and shared on our page. Our online community has participants from Bihar, other Indian states, and diaspora communities around the world.

Questions

Frequently Asked

Do I need any prior experience to join?
+
Absolutely not. All our programs are designed to welcome complete beginners. The only requirement is an open heart and a willingness to show up. Our facilitators are trained to work with participants of all backgrounds and experience levels.
Are all programs really free?
+
Yes — every single program is free to attend. Art materials, session guides, and refreshments are all provided at no cost. We operate on a donation model, which means those who can support us financially are welcome to do so, but it is never a requirement to participate.
How do I register for a program?
+
You can register via our Contact page, send us a message on Instagram @lucky.arts.peace, or email us at contact@luckyartspeace.org. For some programs we ask for registration in advance simply to arrange enough materials and seating — walk-ins are also always welcome where space allows.
Can I bring a friend or family member?
+
Please do! Many of our participants come with a friend, sibling, or parent. We actually find that coming with someone familiar can help people feel more at ease, especially for their first session. The more the merrier — just let us know in advance so we can plan space.
Are programs available outside Patna?
+
We currently run regular in-person programs in Patna and Gaya. Community Events rotate across Bihar districts. Online sessions are available to anyone, anywhere. We are actively working to expand our in-person reach — if you'd like us to come to your district, reach out!
